Controlling the Auto-Complete feature
AutoComplete is certainly convenient, but the data is stored in encrypted
form on your hard drive, so there's no simple way to directly edit the database.
However, you can easily clear all the entries of different categories. In
Internet Explorer 5, choose Tools > Internet Options, then click the Content
tab. In the Personal Information box, select the Auto Complete button. You can
then clear forms or clear passwords by hitting the appropriate button.
Alternately, you can delete a single item. Simply place the cursor in a text
box you want to fill in, then click the down arrow to open the list of
AutoComplete items for that box. Find an entry you want to delete, then just
press the Delete key.
